POIENARI

Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, roșu, și un șef azur este încărcat cu două pistoale haiducești din aur, încrucișate cu gura țevii în sus. În câmpul scutului se află un râs (Lynx) din aur trecând spre dextra. Scutul este timbrat cu o coroană murală cu un turn de argint și zidită negru.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 9, 2020.
The golden pistols refer to the outlaw Chifor (Nechifor), a local hero from the 19th century, originally from Săcăleni, a village belonging to Poienari commune.
The golden lynx is refers to the Râsului brook (râs = lynx), the village of Poienari being founded in the glade crossed by this brook.
The mural crown with a tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
