Mustassa kentässä nuolikotelo, jossa kolme nuolta; kaikki hopeaa; nuolikotelon keskellä punainen pienoiskilpi ja siinä pystyssä hopeapiilu.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 11, 1954.

The bag with arrows refers to the former hunting trips in the forests as well as to the culture of the village. The ax refers to St. Olav of Norway, patron saint of the oldest stone church in the village.
