FASTIV (Фастів)

Region (Oblast) : Kyiv

Coat of arms (crest) of Fastiv
Official blazon
Ukrainian blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on December 23, 1999.

The arms symbolise an ancient fortress on a main crossing of trade routes. The open gates symbolise hospitality. The blue symbolises the Unava river, the green the surrounding forests.
