Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 6, 1928.
The village belonged for a long time to the Imperiali family, Princes of Francavilla Fontana. The castle in the arms was one of their hunting castles. The tree next to the castle is still present the arms thus show a actual depiction of the castle. The crown above the arms symbolises the Princes of Francaville.
