Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 8, 1994.
The village Poproč was known as the royal mining settlement since the 13th century. The arms are known since 1783. In the red shield are two crossed golden mining hammers (ripping and beating) with silver handles, bound with a golden ribbon. In the bottom of the shield is placed a golden star with six points. It's meaning is not known.
