Official blazon
Van azuur met drie omgekeerde gouden bladeren van een moerbezieboom. Het schild getopt met een kroon met vijf fleurons gescheiden door een parel geplaatst op de cirkel en gehouden door twee omziende leeuwen van goud, getongd van keel.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 12, 1963.
The arms are those of the last Lords of Machelen, the Van der Meere family. There are no old seals of the village known, so these arms were a logical choice.
