Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on May 3, 1946.
The bridge recalls the geographical situation of Saint-Aubin opposite the city of Elbeuf on the Seine river. The two cities are connected by a bridge and the cross of Lorraine is taken from the arms of Elbeuf.
The crosier and the two letters S and A refer to Saint-Aubin, the patron of the parish.
The chief refers to the many cherry trees that used to be in Saint-Aubinois; until the First World War a traditional “cherry festival” was held in the town.
