SLATINA-TIMIȘ
District/county (județ) : Caraș-Severin
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 21, 2004.
The vultures placed in the band represent the coat of arms of the De Lorraine family, through the presence in the area of the famous general Charles of Lorraine, the leader of the imperial army, during the anti-Ottoman campaign of 1684.
The green acorns signifies the richness of the forest background that characterizes the area.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
