History: First formed in 1942 at Royal Naval Station Stretton (HMS Blackcap), Warrington, as a Hawher Sea Hurricane Squadron. Reformed at Royal Naval Air Station Brawdy, Pembrokeshire, Wales in 1956 with Hawker Sea Hawk, but disbanded later that Year.
