Origin/meaning
The five Clouds alludes to the five Pilots from No 880 Squadron that come over when No 899 Squadron was formed. The Winged Gauntlet symbolises serving in HMS Indomitable, Royal Navy whose Badge includes a gauntlet. The Badge was approved on 1 September 1943.
