In schwarzem Schild silbern ein Sparren mit unterlegtem Fluß über dem Schildfuß; Sparren und Fluß unterlegt von zwei aus der Mitte des unteren Schildrandes wachsenden auseinanderstrebenden silbernen Getreidehalmen mit mehrfachen Ähren, den ganzen Schild füllend.

The wavy bar represents a small river running through the municipality. The wheat-ear and the tinctures of the arms were taken from the coat of arms borne by the local lords of the manor in the Middle Ages. The chevron, together with the bar, undertakes to symbolise the first letter of the name of the municipality.
