Official blazon

un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, cu șef. În câmp argintiu se află un arbore verde, având tulpina tăiată de o bandă ondulată, de culoare albastră. Despărțirea de șef se face printr-o linie crenelată. În șef, pe fond albastru, se află un soare de aur, la drepta, și o semilună crescătoare, la stânga, ambii aștri ieșind din creneluri. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 16, 2008.

The sun and moon elements can be found in the seal of the Micloșoara court , whose residence was Aita Mare.

The tree means that the locality belongs to the so-called Forest Land micro-region. The blue wavy stripe symbolizes the Olt River.

The crenellated line refers to the Unitarian church-fortress in the locality, built in the 14th century and fortified in the 16th and 17th centuries.
