Official blazon

In Blau über drei weissen Wellen steigender gelber Halbmond, beseitet von zwei fünfstrahligen gelben Sternen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on November 20, 1952.

The pears are canting elements (Birnen) for the former name, the meaning of the ferryman is not clear.
