The Eagle's Head denotes association with the 101st Airborne Division "Screaming Eagles". The Scimitars indicates the Battalion's two campaings in Southwest Asia.The gold disc indicates a coin, the blue wavy bas symbolises the Euphrates River. The Palm tree indicates that the Battalion was the first Finance element to enter Iraq during Operation Desert Storm.
