THE ROYAL FUSILIERS (CITY OF LONDON REGIMENT), BRITISH ARMY
History:Raised in 1685 as the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, redesignated in 1751 as 7th Foot. In 1968 amalgamated with The Royal Northumberland Fusiliers, British Army, The Royal Warwickshire Fusiliers, British Army, The Lancashire Fusiliers, British Army to form The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, British Army.
Official blazon
A grenade, on the ball of which is the Garter ensigned with a crown, and within the Garter the Union Rose; below the Garter the the White Horse of Hanover. the Grenade, Garter and crown are in gilt or gilding metal, and the Garter motto on a ground of blue enamel; the Union Rose and White Horse are in silver plate.
