Uno scudo sannitico, in campo dorato, con angoli superiori arrotolati, sormontato da una corona radiale, contenete sette teste recise di aquile disposte in successione araldica 1,2,1,2,1. Le teste di aquila a colore naturale, coronate all’antica e con lunghe lingue rosse che fuoriescono dal becco, sono rivolte a destra. Su banda superiore a fondo bianco la scritta PUTEOLORUM e su banda inferiore a fondo bianco la scritta “FIDELISSIMA CIVITAS".
