Escudo cuadrilongo de base circular, de azur, con un trilobites de oro, flanqueado de dos escudetes, con el Señal Real de Aragón; campaña de oro. Al timbre, Corona Real abierta.
The trilobite refers to the stratigraphic succession of the Rambla de Valdemiedes, where many fossils of trilobites of the lower and middle Cambrian have been found, 3 being the most important deposit of these organisms in Spain and one of the most of the Cambrian world-wide. Even some species were described for the first time in Murero, as Paradoxides mureroensis.

Origin/meaning

The trilobite refers to the stratigraphic succession of the Rambla de Valdemiedes, where many fossils of trilobites of the lower and middle Cambrian have been found, 3 being the most important deposit of these organisms in Spain and one of the most of the Cambrian world-wide.
