GOLLION

Canton : Vaud

Armoiries de Gollion

Official blazon

De sinople à trois fontaines fascées ondées de sinople et d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 1928.

The green field symbolises the meadows and field, and thus the natural and agricultural character of the municipality. The three heraldic fountains symbolise the name of the village, gouille meaning pond.
