History: Constituted as 34 School Squadron on 16 Aug 1940. Activated on 1 Sep 1940. Redesignated as: 34 Technical School Squadron (Special) on 29 Dec 1941; 34 Technical School Squadron on 4 Jan 1943. Disbanded on 30 Apr 1944. Reconstituted, and redesignated as 34 Technical Training Squadron, on 1 Apr 1981. Activated on 1 Jun 1981.
