10TH FIELD HOSPITAL, US ARMY
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The two crosses symbolises the aid and assistance given by the Hospital. The numerical designation of the Hospital is indicated by the Saltire forming the Roman Numeral X = 10. The Green colour of the scroll symbolises the green of the Fields. The Motto translates as I Shall Conquer By the Cross, is indicative of the martial aspects of the Hospital.
The Design was approved February 19, 1943.
