Region: Midtjylland
Amt (until 2007): Århus (until 1970 Skanderborg)
Additions: 1970 Adslev-Mesing, Blegind-Hørning, Veng

Official blazon
Danish blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were devised in 1953 for Blegind-Hørning municipality, which changed its name in 1962 to Hørning. The arms show two types of mills, the watermills which were characteristic for the area around the town, and a windmill which was characteristic for the town itself.
