Official blazon

Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu undat de argint. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află trei brazi de argint. În vârful scutului, în câmp roșu, se află un cap de cerb de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 20, 2008.

The wavy bar symbolizes the Gurghiu River. Fir trees and deer head represent the forest and rich wildlife of the area.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
