District/county (județ) : Cluj
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 23, 2016.
Fir trees and deer represent the richness of the area's coniferous forests and rich wildlife. The chevron symbolizes the three caves in the locality, declared speleological natural monuments.
The diamond glass-cutter refers to the inhabitants of the area, known throughout the country as street vendors of windows. The ax is the main source of income for the inhabitants, wood processing.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
