Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on June 9, 2023.
The church of Morgemoulin is dedicated to Saint Christopher, hence the image of the saint in the top part of the arms.
The silver nail refers to the fact that until 1790 Margemoulin was a possession of the chapter of Verdun, whose symbol was a nail.
The four rectangles evoke local golden cheeses, washed with a brine called morge and which form together with the mill iron the name of the village (moulin is mill).
The silver wavy bends refer to the Vaux stream on which a mill once ran.
