LAVIGNEY

Département: Haute-Saône

Blason de Lavigney/Arms (crest) of Lavigney
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms show in the upper part the arms of the last Lord of Lavigney, Petit. In the lower half the cross Templar refers to the fact that Grand-Master Jacques de Molay (the 23rd and last Grand Master of the Knights Templar) was born in the nearby village of Molay in 1243.
