SAINT-SORNIN-LAVOLPS
Département : Corrèze
French | De gueules au renard rampant d'or, au franc-canton sénestre d'azur à trois demi-vols d'argent. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The fox in the arms is a canting element for Las Volps (Vulpes is Latin for fox), as the village was known in previous times. The free quarter shows the arms of the Donnet family, who ruled the village for a long priod of time.
