TRINITY PRIMARY SCHOOL

Country: United Kingdom
Campus/location : Edinburgh

Coat of arms (crest) of Trinity Primary School

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms are based on elements taken from the arms of various notable people associated with the land on which the school is built. The chevron for Hope of Craighall between a Mackenzie stag's head, a Melville ratch hound and a Campbell or Argyll boar's head all reflect the owners of the land in times past. The arms also bear a gold (..) bordure to denote their junior status to the upper school, Trinity Academy.
