The Canon alludes to the Field Artillery Group of the Regiment and the Bat with the Gun over Waves allude to the Light anti Aircraft Group. The Cauldron with the Snakes symbolises Melilla, the Garrison of the Regiment. The Coat of Arms was approved on 13 July 2009.
