Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în bandă de un brâu undat, de argint. În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, se află o acvilă bicefală, cu aripile deschise, încoronată cu o coroană închisă, ținând în gheare o spadă și un topuz, totul de argint. În vârful scutului, în câmp roșu, se află silueta unei biserici privită din față, cu trei arcade și o turlă, de aur. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 21, 2011.
The silhouette of the church represents the place of worship in the village of Fundeni, built in 1699 by Mihail Cantacuzino and originally called the Church "Saint Eftimie". This church was renovated in 1860 by Mrs. Maria Ghica, having the current name of the Church of Fundenii Doamnei and being declared a historical monument.
The eagle is part of the seal of Mihail Cantacuzino, and the wavy bar represents the Colentina river, which crosses the locality.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
