Official blazon
French Coupé crénelé:au 1er de gueules à deux vannets d'or, au 2e d'argent au lion de gueules également issant de la pointe.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2011.

The shells in chief here represent St. Michel, not the more common St. James. St. Michel is the local patron saint. The lion in base is taken from the arms of the De Joinville family, former lords of the village. The division line refers to the (former) local castle.

The shield is surrounded by hazel branches, which symbolise the local forest.
