Light grey-blue is the colour of the 3rd Canadian Division and represents the training that the 3rd Canadian Division Training Centre provides to it. The crossed bayonets, symbolic of military training, are a reference to the regular and reserve members of the Canadian Armed Forces. The stone tomahawk, a weapon used by First Nations in the Canadian west, refers to the facts that much of the unit is located on Treaty 6 land and that it has a long history of collaboration with Indigenous organizations. The Badge was approved on 15 April 2020.
