The Orange Triangle was the National Emblem during World War II and indicates raising in the Netherlands Indies (now Indonesia) of the Squadron. The Mustang alludes to the type of aircraft flown during World War II the American P-51D Mustang. The Wall is from the Arms of the German Kreis Wittlage, where the Squadron was based during the Cold War.
