  • (fr) De gueules à la croix cléchée, vidée et pommetée de douze pièces d'or; au chef bastillé de cinq pièces, cousu d'azur et chargé d'un léopard contourné accosté de deux coquilles, le tout d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The cross of the Languedoc and the lion of the Lomagne regions indicate the location of the municipality. The scallops are the symbol of the local patron saint, St. James. The division line refers to the fact that the village was a fortified place in historical times.
