Escudo de prata, com um arado de negro realçado do campo.; em chefe, uma cruz da Ordem de Santiago de vermelho, acompanhada de dois cachos de uva de púrpura, folhados de verde; em ponta, três faixetas ondadas de azul e prata. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco, com a legenda em maiúsculas a negro : “ FREGUESIA DO LAVRADIO “.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on October 12, 1991.
The arms show the cross of the Order of Santiago, as the order played a major role in the local history.
The grapes and the plough symbolise the agricultural character of the parish. The bases represents the Tagus river.
