Wappen von Wien-Reinprechtsdorf

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms show the Imperial orb, part of the seal of the Vienna Burghers' Hospital to which the suburb belonged until being sold to the city of Vienna in the late 18th century. The name "Reinprechtsdorf" is documented as "Ramprechtsdorf" in 1270 and goes back to a man by the name of Reinprecht.
