Azure, abase wavy argent and azure, overall a cross argent between in 2nd an anchor or; the first quarter gules charged with a double lure or.

Origin/meaning

The Lure alludes to the Angel wing in the Arms of the Dioces of Los Angles, from whose southern parts the Dioces of San Diego was created in 1973. The anchor is a Symbol for hope in christianity and also alludes to the Naval Base which is a main feature of San Diego. The Waves symbolise the Pacific.
