Roman Catholic church
Non-Muslims are not granted Citizenhip in the Maldives and there has not been any Catholic Jurisdiction in the Islands. Since 1886 The Archdiocese of Colombo in Sri Lanka has had supervision on the small community of Catholics in the Maldives.
