Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 30, 1992.

Wörschach lies in the valley of the river Enns, between high mountains. Within the municipality, the mighty ruins of Wolkenstein (lit. "cloud-stone", a high mountain) castle can be seen. The arms try to depict this, the mountains and the clouds. The wooden tub refers to the sulphur springs in the area . At themoment, however, these are not used any longer for therapeutic purposes.
