Escudo de vermelho, uma oliveira arrancada, folhada e frutada de sua cor, entre duas mós de moinho de ouro, alinhadas em faixa. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: “ ASSENTIS “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 14, 1994.

The arms show an olive tree and two mill stones. The village is historically famous for the prodution of large quantities of high quality olive oil and its many mills.
