Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 14, 2002.
The spurs refer to the ancient history of the village, and the use of horses at the time. The sheep refers to the importance of sheep breeding for the local economy. The base shows the Serra da Estrela mountains in which the parish is situated.
