Escudo de ouro, cruz pometada de vermelho encimando uma lagoa ondada de azul e prata; em chefe, açor de sua cor e, em orla, cordão de São Francisco, de púrpura. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda de negro, em maiúsculas : “ SANTA CRUZ - LAGOA “.
