I blått fält en roddbåt med två par åror av guld och däröver en bildad måne av silver. Origin/meaningThe arms were granted in 1934. The arms are based on a 17th century seal of the town. The meaning of the moon is not known, the b oat most likely refers to the herring fisheries. Liljeblad mentioned in 1878 completely different arms of unknown origin.
