RĂCĂȘDIA

District/county (județ) : Caraș-Severin

Stema Răcășdia

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 5, 2005.

Ears and corn signify the traditional occupation of the inhabitants, namely agriculture.

The crayfish (rac) refers to the history of the locality and gives the name of the commune.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
