Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, împărțit în furcă. În primul câmp, de aur, se află un stejar înalt dezrădăcinat. Câmpul doi, de culoare roșie, are în centru o fântână arteziană de argint, care are la bază ornamentația unui capitel antic. În vârful scutului, în câmp verde, se află un avion de la începutul secolului al XX-lea, cu formă specifică de săgeată, orientat spre dreapta. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu 3 turnuri crenelate.

The arms were officially granted on February 14, 2007.
The uprooted tall oak and the fountain mean the natural and tourist resources of the area, known for its therapeutic mineral springs, as well as for its forest richness.
The fountain and the ancient capital at its base symbolize the Roman camp discovered in the area.
The plane is related to the activity of Aurel Vlaicu, originally from the lands of Geoagi.
The mural crown with 3 crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
