Stema Ograda

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 23, 2018.

The musical note in chief refers to the conductor and composer Ionel Perlea, born in Ograda in 1900.

The bouquet of wheat ears represents the basic activity of the inhabitants, agriculture.

The oak branch symbolizes the steadfastness of the inhabitants of this commune, as evidenced by the two secular oaks in the Dimieni neighborhood.

The fence, made of wood and stone around a plot of land, refers to the name of Ograda commune.

The wavy bar represents the Ialomița river, which crosses the commune from west to east.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
