History: Formed at Gibraltar in September 1943.
Official blazon
a dove azure holding in its beak an olive branch gules.
Motto: Tomorrows weather today.
Origin/meaning
The dove returning to Noah's Ark with an olive branch could be considered the first meterological flight and the unit has chosen this to reprensent its role. The Badge was granted in July 1945.
