History: The Station was handed over to the Republic of Singapore Air Force on December 12, 1971.

A starfish Or
Motto: Kammelindongi semua = We shelter many.
Origin/meaning
The Starfish symbolises the Sea that surrounds the Station on three sides. The five legs of the Starfish also alludes to the five major functions located at the Station: HQ, Flying Squadrons, Hospital, signals Centre and RAF Regiment. The Badge was granted in August 1950.
