KRIMML
State : Salzburg
District : Zell am See
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 3, 1954.
The division of the shield symbolises the Krimml waterfalls, one of the highest in Europe. The crowned K is taken from the arms of the Imperial Kaisheim Abbey near Donauwörth (Germany), who owned the area prior to 1224. The K is also the town's initial.
