History: Formed at Habbaniya, Iraq on May 1, 1953.
Official blazon
Badge: In front of a bezant a column argent entwined with a serpent proper.
Motto: Nostro auxilio feriunt = With our aide they strike
Origin/meaning
The Pillar alludes to the Roman Ruins of the Area. It also symbolises Support. The Bezant symbolises the Desert. The Serpent (a Silver Krait) is part of the local fauna. The Badge was granted in November 1955.
