Blue: a satyr gold sitting on the trunk of a tree fesswise proper.
Origin/meaning
A Satyr was in Greek Mythology a Male Forest Spirit who attended on Bacchus. The badge was approved in 1944. The Name was given the RN Base at Sunderland 1939-1945.
